Lyn's Health Update

Welcome Winter Sunset

Here everyone can learn about Lyn's medical update. I, Tara, will be updating this site as frequently as I can, but remember I have school and work so it might end up being a day or so in between updates. For the most part, I'll try and be in here everyday to let you all know what's going on with mom and how she's feeling.

08/30/04: Mom is still doing really well with radiation. She has started a count down. Only TWO more radiation treatments left! Woo Hoo! She has definately gotten pinker in her blasting spot but the area surrounding the blast has started to heal. She is told she can go back to work at the end of september. She should be all healed by then.
09/01/04: Mom has had her final treatment of radiation! Woo HOO!!! She should be uphill all the way from now on. She never really got all that badly burnt because of some oil that Brandi gave her, bag balm and sween cream (a medicine drs. say to use). At the end of her treatment mom was given a little diploma to say she finally finished. It was signed by what looks like all the nurses. Soon enough she'll be able to get back to work and back to her usual life. Doctors have her off until the 27th of the month. Soon enough we will have to plan a party to celebrate the end of treatments and her clean bill of health.

Wanna volunteer to give her a ride somewhere? Or do shopping if needed? Or plan a visit? Let me know and I'll put it on the calendar.
